I was born and raised in one of the most beautiful beach towns in California. I am lucky to still call Santa Barbara my home. Life is wild and crazy with my two growing boys, Mason and Jackson.
Photography has been my passion ever since I can remember. Growing up, I was always the one with a camera. I used to document our family trips with photographs and still remember getting my very own camera at age 12.
I graduated from Brooks Institute of Photography in 2002 with a degree in Portraiture. After graduation and a backpacking photo trip through Europe, I opened my photography studio in Carpinteria, Ca. My studio offers a relaxed, comfortable and intimate environment. With the controlled lighting, we are able to shoot at any time of the day. This allows us to work around the babies schedule and when she is at her happiest. I also love shooting on location. Carpinteria and Santa Barbara offer an incredible amount of diverse and beautiful locations. My favorite time to shoot on location is around sunrise or sunset when the light is magical and the most flattering.
I specialize in maternity, baby, child and family portraiture. Capturing individual personalities and precious bonds between family members is what is most inspiring to me.
